Claros Technologies announced the close of a $55 million Series B on July 28, 2026, inclusive of a previously announced convertible note. The round was led by Treehouse Family Capital, with participation from Daikin America, Veralto, the Bush Foundation, Nord Asset Management, the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, and existing investors.
Unlike most entries in this record, this one does not rest on a Form D. The
round label, the lead, and the investor list all come from the company’s own
announcement, which is why kind is recorded as a venture round with a stated
series rather than the neutral exempt-offering used where a filing is all we
have.
The company runs two divisions: ClarosTech, which builds UV-photochemical systems for permanent PFAS destruction, and ClarosLabs, an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited analytical laboratory for PFAS detection and quantification.
Two features of the syndicate are worth flagging. First, the strategic participation: Daikin America is a fluorochemical producer and Veralto a water analytics business, which makes both plausible customers or channel partners as much as financial investors — a useful signal about commercial traction that a pure financial syndicate would not send. Second, two Minnesota foundations sit on a $55M Series B cap table alongside a family office. Foundation capital in a priced venture round is uncommon nationally and turns up more often in this region than the national averages would predict.
Chief executive Michelle Bellanca said the company had “crossed the threshold from breakthrough technology to successful commercial reality,” citing demonstrated performance at commercial scale. In December 2025 the company reported completing, with Daikin America, one of the largest in-field PFAS destruction demonstrations of industrial process water conducted to date.
